The immune system is our first defence against any harmful infection and virus. After the disastrous effects of Covid-19 on immune health, everyone is looking out for ways to boost your immune system naturally.

We have relied on Ayurvedic homemade kadha to better immunity. But did you know that there are other ways of improving immunity And are these tips even natural

We have outlined a list of natural lifestyle changes that could turn out fruitful for improving one’s immunity. Changing your way of life and dietary habits is not an easy thing, especially in this age where everything is accessible just right at your fingertips. Switching to these changes would require your utmost dedication and will. Let’s look at the list of these changes:

8 Ways to boost your Immune System Naturally

Fix Sleep Schedule

It’s extremely common to keep watching Netflix till midnight, that’s how we end up compromising on sleep. Sleeping at odd times rather than going to the bed when you are actually tired could be more devastating in the long run.

Experts suggest following a fixed sleep schedule to provide proper rest to your body. While you sleep the body recharges itself for the next day, this is why we can’t stress it more than why adequate sleep is necessary. Even on weekends, your body will know when it’s time to sleep and wake up if a sleep schedule is punctually followed.

Eat the Plant Rainbow

Eating a colourful diet is a great way to boost the improvement of the immune system. Rainbow fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamins and minerals that support the functioning of a healthy body.

All of these different colours in plant-based foods indicate the presence of a certain nutrient in them. These are called phytonutrients which help in reducing the risk of immune diseases. They are the body’s natural defence against cancerous and heart ailments. Adopting a colourful rainbow diet will aid you in finding a balance between a healthy lifestyle and a strong immune system.

Exercise for 30 Minutes

Try and squeeze in a small workout in your fast lifestyle for at least 30 minutes. We know it’s not as easy as it may look. But this habit of exercising regularly could keep your heart active and strong.

There are numerous benefits of exercise, the list is never-ending. It will make you productive, energetic, improves blood circulation, sleep quality, and endurance. And you will also end up thinking twice before consuming any junk food. It’s a win-win for everyone!

Refrain from Stress

With all the responsibilities of the present-day, it’s tough to not stress about things and maintain a calm behaviour towards life. Why all end up losing our cool every now and then which is understandable. We know it’s pretty hard! But if you are experiencing stress for a prolonged period, it could turn your health upside down.

Managing work, personal life, family, and friends could become exceedingly overwhelming. Uncontrolled stress could unknowingly lead to mood swings, heart conditions, diabetes, and depression. Learning to manage and master the stressful challenges would improve your well-being.

Take a Immunity Supplement

There are thousands of supplements available in the Indian market, from pills to juice to solutions. Some of them are made by following the ancient methods of Ayurveda while others are the result of advanced medical research and clinical trials.

You have the option to pick a supplement that meets your needs, you will surely notice an improvement of immune system. We think it’s always better to stick to ayurvedic supplements to boost immunity because of their proven results and relevance in Indian culture. Research online to know about the exact benefits of immunity-boosting herbs and how they could prove to be the best potion for you.

Drink Enough Water

Water is the source of our existence – the human body is made up of up to 60% water. We lose a large amount of water every day to compensate for it. Our body requires enough water from food, drinks, and just plain water. Below is a list of the numerous benefits of drinking water and how it assists in the functioning of a healthy body:

Regulates body temperature

Maintains a balance of fluids

Keeps your skin hydrated

Aids in digestion & prevents constipation

Supports kidney to flush out toxins

We would suggest you to carry a bottle of water everywhere you go, at least you will never be dehydrated!

Eat Healthy Fats

Eating healthy fats rich in poly and monounsaturated fats can significantly lower bad cholesterol levels in the body. Foods like avocado, cheese, dark chocolate, eggs, nuts, seeds, and yoghurt are healthy in nature while being high in fats.

Our body cannot make fatty acids derived from these fats on its own, they are fundamental for the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins. Incorporate protein, carbs, healthy fats, and fibre in your meals – each of these are vital to make a balanced and healthy diet.

Avoid Smoking & Drinking

This cannot be overemphasised that drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes are bad habits. We all start somewhere from one cigarette a day to finishing a whole packet in 24 hours. Consumption of alcohol once or twice a month is alright, chugging down pitchers of beer every week is a big no-no!

Drinking leads to the unrealized development of careless and violent behaviour in a person. Studies also show that the consumption of cigarettes promotes a drive for alcohol in the body. It cannot be denied that both of these habits are interrelated and addictive. It’s best to avoid this style of living to stay healthy in the longer run.

These are the top 8 most common ways to boost your immune system naturally. It’s rightly said that – ”First we form habits, then they form us.” Adopt these basic habits to achieve a strong immune system and an improved lifestyle.

In addition to the above-mentioned tips, we should always take precautions to keep away from common infections and viruses. Practice habits like carrying a personal handkerchief, washing, and sanitising your hands at regular intervals. These will greatly help in creating a healthy style of living for a strong immune system.

The post Top 8 Ways to Boost Your Immune System Naturally appeared first on Themiracledrinks.

India is regarded as the Diabetes Capital of the World. As per the Indian Council of Medical Research, “The past three decades witnessed a 150 per cent increase in the number of people with diabetes in the country.”

Diabetes is directly related to high blood pressure and high sugar levels which are the most common causes of kidney diseases. Note that you are at a greater risk of kidney disease if you are a patient with diabetes.

It’s vital for diabetic patients to stick to a doctor-recommended diet for the prevention of kidney diseases.

Our kidneys play the role of a unique filtration system in the body. They filter about 180 litres of fluid in 24 hours. When blood passes through the kidneys, they filter it to remove waste and extra water in the form of urine.

Most of the useful proteins and nutrients from this fluid are returned to the blood. Kidneys are also responsible for several other functions in the body, some of which are listed below:

Remove excess acid produced by the blood cells.

Maintain a balance of Sodium, Calcium, Potassium, and Phosphorus levels in the blood.

Produce hormones that regulate blood pressure and make red blood cells.

Convert Vitamin D from the sun into an active form for calcium absorption in the body.

Prevention of Kidney Disease: Lifestyle & Diet Tips

Take a look at these lifestyle and diet tips that can help you prevent kidney failure naturally:

Keep yourself Hydrated

We know that this advice could be cliché! But it’s a known fact that you can keep your kidneys healthy if we consume plenty of water. And not just the kidneys, every part of your body needs water to function properly. If your body is dehydrated, it directly affects your kidneys.

Adequate water consumption helps the kidneys remove waste from the body as urine. It acts as a transport medium to transfer nutrients to the kidney for performing its essential functions. You are less likely to have kidney stones if your water intake is good, it prevents the small crystals from turning into painful stones.

Control Blood Sugar Levels

If you are a diabetic patient, you must be experiencing frequent fluctuations in your blood sugar levels. The high blood sugar level is a major cause of chronic kidney failure in many people.

Over time, the high glucose in the blood damages the filtering system of the kidneys. It eventually leads to the overexertion of our kidneys. Keep an eye on your blood sugar levels, eat a low-salt & fat diet, and cut down on sugary foods to regulate your blood sugar.

Watch your Weight & Diet

Just as water is vital for kidney functioning, a healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables helps our kidneys perform better. Include foods like lentils, beans, cabbage, garlic, onions, apples, and pumpkin seeds to balance your diet.

Being overweight tremendously raises the chances of diabetes and high blood pressure. Your kidneys have to exert extra effort to filter more waste than normal. As we said before, these two conditions may result in kidney diseases. Keep a check on your weight, engage in cardio exercises and control food portions if you are overweight.

Manage your Blood Pressure

High blood pressure is the other prominent cause of kidney failure. The blood vessels in the kidneys become narrow and weak due to the uncontrolled blood pressure. It leads to irreparable damage to the kidney arteries, over time the kidneys fail to filter fluids. Kidney failure may take years to progress, but high BP also puts you at the risk of heart disease and strokes. It’s important to manage your blood pressure levels for overall well-being.

Avoid Eating Extra Salt

A diet high in salt puts a strain on the kidney’s functioning and leads to potential kidney diseases. It also raises protein levels in the urine further increasing the chances of cardiovascular diseases.

Our kidneys need a balance of sodium and potassium to perform their functions correctly. They end up filtering less water due to this imbalance and there is also an increase in blood pressure levels. Doctors advise kidney patients to consume less sodium to regulate this balance in the body.

Exercise Regularly

These lifestyle habits can be considered interdependent. Engaging in any form of exercise from cycling, running, walking, or swimming can improve your kidney health. Working out regularly benefits your body in numerous ways:

Improved muscle strength

Regulated blood pressure levels

Controlled body weight

Boosts heart health

Skip Over-the-Counter Medicines

We usually do not think much before popping a bill during a headache or fever, but this could unknowingly cause kidney damage. If taken in high doses, over-the-counter medicines like aspirin, ibuprofen, and naproxen may reduce the amount of blood flow to your kidneys. It’s wise to consult with your doctor before taking any of these readily available medicines.

How to Prevent Kidney Failure Naturally?

The kidneys are an essential organ and their health cannot be ignored. If you consume junk frequently and have an inactive style of living, you are likely to face kidney damage over time.

At first, you might not realise it but with time these habits affect the kidneys’ functioning. This chronic kidney failure will be evident only after years or decades, where the damage may even become irreversible.

Eating healthy and keeping yourself active every day can help in the prevention of kidney disease. Mindful habits could significantly lower the risks of chronic kidney failure. We can’t stress this enough, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”

The post Lifestyle & Diet Tips for Prevention of Kidney Disease appeared first on Themiracledrinks.

It can be compared to an amalgamation of the abnormalities related to Rasa Pradosaja vikara, Kaphaja shotha, Pandu, Mutrakriccha, Mutraghata, and Prameha and its complications, which are known as Vrikka roga (Kidney diseases). Chronic kidney disease is an intricate disorder that occurs when one experiences a gradual decline in the function of the kidneys with severe and dreadful adverse effects that lead to low life expectancy of the individual suffering from it.

According to Charaka Chikitsa the following are the main reasons that lead to eight types of Mutrakrchra (Dysuria):

Excessive physical exertion

Drug abuse (prescribed/unprescribed)

Excessive consumption of rough foods (oily/ fatty)

Excessive consumption of meats (especially red meat)

Alcohol abuse

Dairy products

Riding on fast moving vehicles

Which leads to eight types of Mutrakrchra (Dysuria) due to which the doshas become compromised either individually by each of their causes or collectively (Sthana Samshraya), become localized in the kidney/urinary bladder, press against the bladder’s urinary path, that causes the person to urinate painfully (Vataja), which results in small and unpleasant burning micturition (Pittaja), and there may be sensation of heaviness and edema (Kaphaja).

According to Acharya Charaka, Vata entering the Bahya Srotas (Mutravaha Srotas being one of them) leads to the adverse effects of Kapha, Rakta, and pitta by blocking them. Then, as it spreads, it creates swelling with protuberance-like qualities.

Chronic Kidney Disease is similar to Mutrakrchra, Mutraghat, and Aama under Mutra vaha Strotas, based on Ayurveda. Ama from mutravaha strotas interfere with renal function. That leads to the human body producing too many toxins. Accordingly, dravyas like Mutrala, Katu, Tikta Rasatmak, Agnidipana, and Pachana can be recommended as treatment plans.

The appropriate functioning of the kidneys is examined in contemporary literature through analysis of the generation of urine, the quantity of waste products excreted, the management of electrolytes, the control of water balance, the control of blood pressure, the regulation of red blood cell production, and the synthesis of vitamin D.

Root causes of CKD and Increase in GFR:

Conditions that harm the kidneys and lessen their capacity to filter waste from the blood are included in chronic kidney disease. Wastes can accumulate to dangerous levels in the blood if kidney disease progresses, which can cause a number of other illnesses including high blood pressure, anaemia (low blood count), weak bones, poor nutritional health, nerve damage, and many more. The risk of developing heart and blood vessel disease is also increased by CKD. These issues may develop gradually over a lengthy period of time.

The main risk factor of CKD includes type 2 diabetes mellitus and hypertension. Long-term high glucose levels cause the glomerular basement membrane to thicken and the mesangial space to expand, both of which have an impact on the glomerular filteration rate (GFR). This can be similarly related to hypertension; blood clots and bleeding are caused by changes in capillary blood flow. The likelihood of involvement of other bodily organs rises as the disease advances to end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and the GFR value falls.

Presently, the only treatments for CKD are kidney transplant or dialysis. For a limited time, synthetic drugs (chemical compositions) can be used to control creatinine levels. As particular manifestations of CKD are the focus of CKD treatment. Concern is given to protein limitations, lowering intraglomerular hypertension, protein uria, hyperuraemia, regulation of blood sugar, treating the consequences, and ultimately renal replacement for delaying the progression of CKD ONLY.

The NEO-AYURVEDA way (Next Gen of Ayurveda):

Miracle Drinks’ therapeutic regimen plays a significant part in the management of CKD because it aids in the regeneration of the entire renal system, which helps with the proper flushing of wastes from the body. This improves the victims quality of life and allows them to lead ordinary lives without having to spend a lot of money on kidney transplant and dialysis.

DOSAGE :

: 15 ml each before food

The substances in the aforementioned procedure have traditionally been used to treat a variety of renal disorders known as vrkka rogas.

Gokshura is a mutrala dravya that is frequently utilised in therapeutic settings. It has sheeta veerya, guru-snigdha guna, and madhura rasa. According to research, gokshura’s diuretic qualities are brought on by its high nitrate and potassium salt content. Additionally, it aids in the process of cell regeneration in the kidney.

Other components include tikta, kashaya, and madhura rasa, laghu guna, and ushna veerya, as well as Haritaki, Nimba, and Amlakki. Shothahara is how these medications work. It eliminates the toxin and lessens excessive fluid retention through the diuretic activity. This enhances urine production, reduces burning micturition, and reduces pedal edoema. Through its antioxidant properties to the body’s production of insulin, the compounds in haritaki also aid in promoting insulin sensitivity, lowering blood sugar levels, and boosting immunity.

Guduchi’s anti-inflammatory properties assist with both macro and microcirculation and reduce pain and swelling in diabetic neuropathy, nephropathy, and arthropathy patients.

A RENAL CARE IN VITRO STUDY OF ITS NEPHROPROTECTIVE POTENTIAL IN HYDROGEN PEROXIDE INDUCED TOXICITY IN A BABY HAMSTER KIDNEY FIBROBLASTS

The revalidation of facts included in ayurvedic classics has been of primary relevance in the contemporary context despite the fact that ayurveda has enormous potential in the treating of many renal problems.

In an in vitro investigation, the experimental validity of RENAL CARE’s Nephro-protective action was established. With the notion that if the kidneys begin to function correctly, the condition would eventually go away, nephro-protective activity was examined. In Baby Hamster Kidney (BHK-21) cells, ” Renal care ” showed a dose-dependent substantial Nephro-protective activity against H2O2-induced oxidative stress.

The proprietary science of neo-ayurveda:

The proprietary science Neo-Ayurvedic© focuses on repairing, regenerating, rejuvenating, and re-building the system at the cellular level, which includes detoxifying the cell, regulating cellular metabolic activity, nourishing the undernourished cell with phytochemicals derived from herbal compounds and natural food items (used as medicine), and inducing the release of specific enzymes by gut-beneficial microbes that act as a catalyst to release nutrients. In Ayurveda, food is viewed as a type of medicine. This feeds the cells and aids in their renewal when coupled with specific dietary recommendations. This exclusive technology is the result of more than 35 years of investigation into the advantages of herbal medicinal plants, their decoctions, and formulations, along with the scientific principles of allopathy.

The herbal mixtures utilised at Miracle Drinks are therefore intended to “restore” the imbalance or illness process taking place within the body in order to recuperate and reestablish equilibrium. Combining healthy phytochemicals, clean and organic food sources, dietary and nutrition management, as well as yoga and meditation, can stop the degeneration of cells and organs and assist re-establish and restore order in the human body.

The post Our Article on Kidney appeared first on Themiracledrinks.
